Hi. I was chatting with Yak who got me interested in applying to join you for some raiding. Now, I have never raided in GW2 before. I didn't start when raids came out and since then it's got increasingly intimidating since everyone, understandably, wants experienced raiders. I am familiar with raiding in general however. I used to raid a lot in SWTOR, to the point that I'd pug a raid every day. The highlight of my SWTOR raiding was two consecutive world firsts on the highest difficulty raids.

What do you expect from the raid guild you'd like to belong to?
  • Good company, clearing content without being overly hardcore.
Any personal data you feel like sharing (name, age, gender, nationality, hobbies, etc)
  • My name is Olli. I'm 26 and from Finland. Online I go by Asa. I work at a website hosting company and if my mum asks, I'm totally working on finishing school. In my spare time I enjoy excessive gaming, TV shows and singing.
Current raid ready character names with professions and equipment (basically anything you deem raid ready)
  • My characters I've played the most and that have full ascended gear are 
  • Ranger, Asasorch, Viper
  • Necro, Fenlain, Viper
  • Engineer, Asa Funfur, Viper
  • Revenant, Asarton, Berserker
  • I've mained each of the three first mainly playing Fractals. The Ranger seems like the best choice for getting used to raids.
Why would you like to be in this raid guild? Also how did you find out about us?
  • Yak invited me on a tour of your guild hall with the stylish shrines to the gods, massive staircase to the top of the map and SUCK MY BALLS. We were talking about the game and when on the subject of raiding he asked me if I'd want to join your guild. The description he's given me sounds like the sweet spot between one handed toddlers and korean finger acrobats who have to have all content cleared within an hour of release.
Estimated activity level per week
  • My GW2 playtime has fluctuated greatly in the past, from a few hours every now and then to several every day. With raiding as a motivator I'd expect it to be towards the higher end.

  • I am super concious of the fact I haven't raided in GW2 before. If you do decide to take me along I'll do my best to be prepared.

    Hey Asa, 

    sent you an invite to the guild, welcome to the try-out stage. I'll send you some details of the sign-up sheet in private, please sign up for the upcoming raids. Not sure how much Yak told you, but this is where we get to know each other and see whether you fit in the guild and whether you like to raid with us at all. Please be patient as this can take some time.

    Are you applying for a full time raider? If you are expected to show up twice a week (details on the sheet, but if you got any question just ask on the guildchat).
